Enrolment capped at East Carling Public School

Posted On Wednesday September 11, 2024

Effective immediately, the Thames Valley District School Board has capped enrolment at East Carling Public School in London.

This means no new families may register children to attend East Carling Public School. However, siblings of current East Carling Public School students will still be allowed to attend the school.

New students will attend Prince Charles Public School, with transportation provided (if eligible).

The school board made this decision due to a rapid increase in the number of families in the school’s attendance area. East Carling was built for 461 students; currently, 570 students attend, and the school has six portables.

To provide enrolment pressure relief for East Carling Public School, and as per Thames Valley’s Accommodation Plan, the Board plans to start an attendance area review for East Central London during the 2024-2025 school year.

Thames Valley looks forward to welcoming new families and introducing them to the many unique programs offered at Prince Charles Public School and all Thames Valley schools.
